Coffee Business
Who doesn’t love Colombian coffee? It’s delicious. I love doing my coffee tour and trying different flavors and textures in the coffee shops around town.
So I have made a small list to show you my favorites and the preferred brands abroad!
Pergamino Coffee
Besides natural coffee, Pergamino offers different presentations with fruity touches, such as Pompeya and Nariño, an exquisite mix including grapes and peaches.
There are plenty of options to go crazy for, though no matter which one you choose, the experience can vary based on body and grind type.
Pergamino also has some clothing and bags for sale with unique designs inspired by the coffee culture.
Whether it’s coffee or other coffee-related product, you always have the option to send the product as a gift with a nice message.
Café Velvet makes its products with grains from Colombian crops, selling them partly in the stores of Paisa city, and sending another part of its grains to its roastery in Belgium.
Hence the motto: coffee with a Belgian accent. You can place your order on the website or contact them if you have any concerns.
I recommend asking for Puro Velvet or also for Fuerza, one of my favorites with notes of chocolate!
Perhaps you didn’t know, but Medellín also has its international coffee summit!
This international meeting aims to unite international suppliers to promote the coffee economy and exchange experiences.
If you’re interested in learning a little more about the global coffee economy, you can visit this event that’ll take place soon at the Plaza Mayor event center.
Fabrics and Fashion
Medellin is a fashion house in Colombia. It hosts significant fashion events such as Colombiatex and Colombiamoda.
The events unite international brands wanting to expand in Colombia and Paisa brands seeking to open their way internationally.
The United States is among the countries that made the most purchases during the event.
Here are some of the brands that make international sales with paisa talent!

Among earrings, necklaces, and rings inspired by Colombian nature, Bocanegra’s handmade and nature-inspired designs help highlight the beauty of colored people.

This quality handmade Colombian brand doesn’t yet export its products but has traveled the world with its customers.
This company is known for its backpacks and other travel accessories. You can look at their page and see the photos of the designs in different international scenarios.
