With 14 neighborhoods, 12 de Octubre is one of the smallest communes in Medellín. It’s the sixth of the 16 communes in Paisa city.
El Picacho is one of its most popular neighborhoods, where you’ll find several tourist attractions.
Like any commune in Medellín, October 12 also has different bus routes that connect it with the entire city.
However, its main attraction is the metrocable stations! It currently has two stations, the El Progreso station and the 12 de Octubre station.

You’ll find illumination along the path, so going down at night isn’t a problem. It’s also a very visited place.

The UVA parks in Medellin are an architectural beauty and a great place to hang out.
